What is included in the cost of the tour?

    The tour includes a large, stocked cooler with drinks, fuel, professional captain, dockage if needed, cruising permits, snorkel equipment and reef safe sunscreen.

What time do tours start? 

    A full day tour runs from 9:00am - 4:30pm.

    A half day tour can have a customised start time.

Do I need to bring a towel?                   

    Yes, please make sure to bring your own towel. 

​

Are taxi rides and lunch included in the cost of the tour?

    No, these are an additional expense as well as any drinks purchased on shore at the bars and restaurants.

​How many people does the boat accommodate?

    First Light takes up to 12 guests with one crew member. An additional crew member can be added at your request.

​What drinks are in the cooler?

    The large cooler will be stocked with beer, water, soda and prosecco (oo la la!).

 

 Would it be alright if I brought my own drinks?

    Definitely! The large, insulated cooler will have room to accommodate any personal drinks you would like. There will be plenty of ice to keep it cold.

Can I bring my own sunscreen?

    Of course, please make sure you bring reef safe sunscreen! However, we do not allow any spray sunscreens or oil based tanners.

 

Can I play my own music?

    For sure! Our Fusion stereo allows you to connect your phone via Bluetooth.

What else should I bring with me?

    Nothing really! Your towel, a smile and a sense of fun is all you need!

 

Do most places take credit cards?

    Yes, most establishments take Visa and Mastercard. Bringing cash with you is always a good idea. 

​

Is it customary to tip in the BVI?

    Yes, most people here rely on tips, so an average 15-20% gratuity is much appreciated especially for your captain.
